Role Summary
Manage civil works for telecom tower foundations and site erection. Supervise concrete pouring, steel structure erection, soil testing, and safety compliance at site level.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise civil construction works for greenfield and rooftop telecom sites.
- Ensure tower foundations (concrete pouring, reinforcing steel) meet structural engineering plans.
- Conduct soil bearing tests, concrete cube compression tests, and site leveling audits.
- Prepare site progress reports, defect lists, and hand-over documentation.
- Enforce strict HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies on construction sites.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in structural construction, preferably in the telecom sector.
- Registered member of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers (UIPE) is a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis software.
- Willingness to travel and work in remote upcountry locations.
